Originally, the trial was set to begin Sept. 25, but it has been pushed back, Newsday reported. The new date has not been announced and a reason for the delay was not given.

Manning is being sued by three collectors in New Jersey who claim Manning allowed his memorabilia to be sold as game used, even though it wasn’t.
He was scheduled to give a deposition June 28, but the delay in the trial means he will have to meet with the court from Aug.1-Sept. 30. With minicamps, the preseason and the start of the regular season during that timeframe, Manning will need to figure out how and when he can meet with the court to give the deposition.
Manning has maintained his innocence, as has the Giants organization.
In general, this crop is shaping up to be weaker than the 2017 draft class, but stronger than the 2016 one. The top of the draft could feature slightly more upside, but the strength is not there yet in mid-draft depth 鈥?largely due to the fact that the 2017 high school recruiting class is worse overall than the 2016 group. No matter, though, there will be plenty of options at the top to choose from.
But beyond that, things do seem to be more wide open than most. College basketball’s talent overall will be down in 2018, making for what could be something of a chaotic process with a lot of risers and fallers throughout the year. Here are the names I’m starting with that you should know.
Porter is the prize, having taken a large leap from his junior to senior year of high school. He’s a smooth scorer at 6-10 with fluid athleticism and the ability to knock it down from deep. He’s a prototypical stretch-4 in the modern NBA, but he can do way more than that.
