Griffin gave everything he had to make it work in Cleveland, but injury derailed his season. Though he returned and led the Browns to their final win, he was concussed in that game. To ask a quarterback who can’t stay healthy to carry a franchise is asking too much. Griffin would do well to join a team where he’s not the focal point and can merely be one part of the whole in trying to restore his career.

Floyd showed remorse throughout the interview, at one point saying he “100 percent” wished the incident didn’t happen so he could’ve stayed in Arizona for the remainder of the season instead of going to New England and winning the Super Bowl (he was a healthy scratch for the game).

Because in virtually all of his time as an offensive coordinator and head coach in the NFL, one given was Kubiak’s offenses running the ball successfully. As in anytime, anywhere.
The pinnacle of the success — Terrell Davis — was selected to the Hall of Fame a couple of weeks ago. But just days before Davis was rewarded for being the rarest kind of player, Kubiak was still shaking his head at the Broncos’ 2016 run game.
