Leonard Fournette injury update: Jaguars RB active vs. Browns

Leonard Fournette was a game-time decision, but will be active for Sunday’s game in Cleveland.

The Jaguars’ rookie running back had tested his injured ankle during pregame warm-ups to determine if he was healthy enough to play in the team’s Week 11 matchup against the Browns.

The Jaguars (6-3) will look to earn their fourth straight win against the winless Browns (0-9) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.

While details around Mauaulga’s arrest have not surfaced publicly, the development continues a string of unpleasant stories for the Dolphins this season.

The linebacker signed a one-year deal with Miami in August and played in six games this season, starting in four. Mike Hull will likely take his place in the starting lineup when Miami hosts the Buccaneers Sunday, per the Miami Herald.

The Dolphins promoted running back De’Veon Smith from the practice squad to fill the roster spot opened by Maualuga’s exit.

Maualuga, who spent the first eight years of his NFL career with the Bengals, pled guilty to DUI in 2010 in Kentucky, the Herald notes.

He has finished a week ranked better than 16th at the position once during his past seven outings. Carr’s completion percentage (64 percent) and yards per attempt (6.9) are about the same as last year, but he’s throwing deeper, getting less help after the catch, getting sacked more, throwing more interceptions and dealing with more drops. That has all added up to a rough fantasy campaign. Carr is not a recommended play against Denver this week but will be back in the QB1 discussion against the Giants, Chiefs and Cowboys in December.
