Something that’s probably happened before but I’ve never noticed: an offense sending a man in motion before an obvious kneel down in the closing seconds of a half. That’s what Kirk Cousins’ Washington offense did at the Chiefs on Monday Night Football, and I’m enormously confused but kind of curious about why this happened:
Mariota injured his hamstring during the first half to Tennessee’s 57-14 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 4. He ran in a two-yard tochdown before halftime to slice Houston’s lead to 24-14. He suffered the hamstring injury during the play and went into halftime in pain.
Authentic Womens Patrick Robinson Jersey Chicago had a 24-13 lead in the fourth quarter, but watched it slip away. A Justin Tucker field goal got the Ravens within eight. Michael Campanaro’s touchdown and a successful two-point conversion tied it with less than two minutes to play in regulation.
Patrik Nemeth Youth Jersey As time was winding down in regulation and the Bears were looking toward overtime, Jordan Howard ran out of bounds on third-and-20 with 31 seconds left. It stopped the clock, and forced the Bears to punt the ball back to the Ravens with 23 seconds left.
Hester and Peterson weren’t the only players knocking out long touchdowns that day.
Five plays after Hester’s punt return touchdown, the Vikings tied the game when Tarvaris Jackson found Troy Williamson for a 60-yard touchdown pass on the final play of the 1st quarter. The Bears ended the ensuing drive with a 39-yard touchdown pass from Griese to Bernard Berrian. After four more punts, the Vikings took over trailing 14-7 with under five minutes remaining in the half.
